about
In 2014, I saw firsthand just how important journalism can be in everyone's lives. I grew up in the Flint area, in Michigan, and was just starting to pay attention to news and media coverage when a story broke about the water being essentially poisoned. Once I arrived at college and found my way into journalism, I instantly fell in love with it.
As a journalist, I believe there is no point in reporting on the news in a way that isn't digestible for the average reader. With that in mind, I have always worked to bring the most important and compelling stories to the forefront – ensuring everyone is able to be in the know, not just those with a certain degree of education.
